The floor, which extends to the veranda, is constructed from 19mm tongue and groove cladding, well known for its weather resistance, strength and durability. This is supported by treated foundation joists, providing you with a long lasting surface for many years of entertainment. The apex roof features an overhang which covers the veranda beautifully, providing shade from sun and showers. Built from 19mm tongue and groove, this ensures a strong and reliable canopy. Please be advised that the roof does not include a cover as standard. Select from SBS, Charcoal Felt Shingles or Roof Felt Underlay as an optional upgrade. SBS weatherproof roof covering is a thick, torch on felt with an exceptionally long lifespan and outstanding weatherproof qualities. Unless you possess advanced DIY skills, we recommend hiring a professional installer. Roof Underlay Felt is simple to nail on to the garden building but is only designed as a temporary solution until you have added a permanent weatherproof roof cover upgrade. The delightful veranda area is ideal for outdoor seating, with treated terrace boards for a hardwearing finish. From the veranda, you enter the cabin through a single door, which is fitted with a cylinder lock. For increased strength and improved resistance to adverse reactions to extreme temperatures, such as warping or cracking, the door frames are laminated in construction. To ensure good insulation the tilt and turn windows and doors have rubber seals and silicone. Inside, you are aware of generous space and natural light pouring in from the windows on two aspects. Single glazed with a top opening function, aiding ventilation, the windows also benefit from shutters on the outside and discrete window gutters to prevent water seepage and damage. These shutters can be used to secure your log cabin when not in use, and offer an attractive feature when pinned back. This garden cabin is supplied untreated and with a five year guarantee. We advise that you apply an initial anti fungal treatment to the log cabin, once built, and do so annually thereafter to support the guarantee.
